Ryan gets the best out of the people he works with. Not only is he a top class trainer, but is knowledgeable about the way the human body works. He talks you through exactly what a particular exercise will do for your body on the way to achieving your goals. His friendly approach means he'll often check up on his clients a day after their session with him to see how their body is feeling. If you have any questions about things he doesn't know about, he isn't afraid to research the subject for you.
For Ryan it's as much about learning about you as it is you learning about your body. In just two months I have lost 6 per cent in body fat, going down two waist sizes by following his programme and the diet that he's set for me. I'd recommend Ryan to anyone looking to get in shape, lose weight and tone up.

The TRX suspension training stretched me in places I'd never knew existed, which is perfect preparation for skiing or snowboarding as it's always those muscles that are underused in daily life that really need to kick in on the mountain.
I came away from the sessions with Ryan feeling stronger and more energised. In particular, my legs felt toned and had that pleasing sensation of being pushed to their limits, on exercises that at the time had felt relatively stress-free.
It was a really convenient and effective workout.

I met Ryan when he noticed me in the gym struggling to stretch my calves properly. He taught me to use the foam rollers and then spent ages chatting to me about exercise and my goals. After our conversation, Ryan shook my hand and told me to give him a shout if I needed anything without once trying to sell himself as a personal trainer. This to me is typical of Ryan. He is a genuine guy who believes passionately in helping people to get the most from their workout so they are as fit and healthy as they can be.
I have in the past found it challenging to keep up a regular exercise routine but I love my sessions with Ryan and always leave the gym feeling on a high. His sessions are varied and interesting and always pitched at the right level so you feel stretched without feeling broken. Ryan also has an in-depth knowledge of physiology and understands how the body works inside out which is invaluable in designing an effective workout programme.

Whilst I am a semi regular gym goer, I’ve always shied away from strength training – a combination of being slightly intimated by all the men sweating in the weights corner and not being entirely sure how to best approach it. Training with Ryan on the TRX was a revelation. Every session takes place in a different outdoor setting and his combination of exercises never fails to get those hard to reach muscles working, whilst stimulating the core throughout.

Ryans’ enthusiasm and belief in the TRX methods is infectious, pushing me to new levels at every session – he’s completely changed my perception of what I’m capable of.
